Liberty Shoes’ initiative to help retailers, distributors

Liberty Shoes has taken the pledge to strengthen the roots with ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign #MajbootKadamTayaarHum launched under the leadership of Marketing Head Barun Prabhakar. Anupam Bansal, Executive Director- Retail, Liberty Shoes, said, “As a home-grown brand, Liberty has started taking steps in the making of an Atmanirbhar Bharat. The company is reaching out to small businessmen and retailers who were earlier dependent on China for exports, by providing them the required product directly from our stores under an economical price range.”

Jejuindi-India — a 100% subsidiary of popular South Korean cosmetics major Jejuindi — will launch its pure natural and vegan products in India. It will introduce a range of products such as anti-ageing rich cream face serums, moisturisers/spray, face mask serum, face wash, body/face light cream.

Dr RK Bansal has joined NB Retina Centre, Sector 32-D, Chandigarh, as Medical Director after his superannuation from the GMCH, Sector 32. He was the head of lens clinic and pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus clinic at the GMCH. He has earlier worked as assistant professor in the Eye Department of the PGI, Chandigarh.

Having already delivered 10 projects in the tricity, Sushma Group has started the possession of ‘Joynest MOH1’ on PR-7 Airport Ring Road in Mohali. Spread over 10.75 acres, it is the company’s first project of its Joynest (value homes) series. The Group is looking at an investment of Rs 300 crore into the project.

NTPC stations donate Rs15.25 L to fight coronovirus pandemic

NTPC is at the forefront of multiple initiatives to fight the Covid pandemic. NTPC stations located in NCR have to date provided a financial support of Rs 15.25 lakh to their respective district administration/ local authorities to deal with the pandemic. Even the Ladies Club of NTPC Dadri has donated Rs 3 lakh to the district administration, Gautam Budh Nagar.

M Nagaraj, CMD, Hudco, recently shared highlights of the company’s performance in FY20. The company has witnessed a 45% growth in its net profit at Rs 1,708.42 crore from Rs 1,180.15 crore in FY19. It has seen a 13% growth in its net worth that has reached Rs 12,343.49 crore from Rs 10,955.77 crore in FY19. The total income also witnessed a jump of 35% to Rs 7,571.64 crore from Rs 5,591.22 crore in FY19.

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) ended FY20 on a strong note despite numerous challenges, including the outbreak of Covid. The company sanctioned loans of over Rs 1 lakh crore and disbursed around Rs 68,000 crore in the last financial year. It registered a 16% growth in its standalone revenue. The year-on-year net profit is comparable at Rs 6,788 crore for FY20 as against Rs 6,953 crore in FY19.
